Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is offering a New Graduate RN – Critical Care RN Residency Program with a sign-on bonus. New grads and experienced nurses are welcome, with a residency that includes hands-on training, mentoring, and classroom sessions to build confidence in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following: ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA within 30 days of hire
• New graduates strongly encouraged to apply
• Experience in hospital setting helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for assigned patients
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information
• Collaborates with experienced nurses and care teams to support learning in the RN Residency Program
