Prisma Health in Richland Hospital invites new graduate nurses to join our Nurse Residency Program. This residency blends core clinical training with specialty‑specific education, mentors, and professional development as you refine nursing knowledge under licensed RNs.

Cohort starts December 7. Must graduate prior to October 15, 2026. Location: Richland Hospital, Hartwell Suite. Our program prepares you for a successful nursing career with structured training and ongoing validation.

Qualifications

• Education - ADN; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• No previous experience required; candidates with >12 months are not eligible.
• Temporary/Graudate Nurse licensure may be accepted upon diploma and NCLEX scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Attend quality and core curriculum classes and participate in development workshops.
• Assist under supervision of a licensed RN with clinical experiences and documentation.
• Perform nursing assessments and plan of care under supervision.
• Provide patient care and discharge teaching under the nurse in charge.
• Document care accurately and participate in QI processes.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
