The HCA Healthcare Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program providing hands-on experience to develop clinical and critical thinking skills. As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be supported by nurse educators, experienced nurses, and peers, guiding you from student nurse to registered nurse.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The program prepares you for hospital environments via clinical training, educational sessions, preceptorships, simulations, mentoring, and evidence-based projects. Cohort start dates are:

• 2/10/2025
• 3/24/2025
• 5/19/2025

The RN Resident will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Qualifications include:

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification within 1 year
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• RN License or Graduate Nurse status in the state
• No prior experience required
• Some travel may be necessary for training
