Job summary

AdventHealth Mills Park Surgery Center in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a New Grad position in an outpatient setting. The RN will provide continuous nursing care with careful assessment, planning, and execution for patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program with an active Florida RN license, and must have BLS and ACLS; PALS may be required by the center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment and prioritize workload

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
