The Observation Unit at Ahuja Medical Center is a new floor that opened June 2023 and is a fast paced environment where you will be working directly with providers to assess patients and create a care pathway for them. The observation unit has 22 beds with a lower patient to nurse ratio of about 4/5:1 with an average turnover rate of 24hrs.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.Note: Education and degree verificationwill be required upon receiving a job offer.
BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
