Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care and teaching through the nursing process. The RN directs and guides activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards and organizational policies. Provides care to patients of all ages.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice of the nursing process.
• Specialty unit nurses must meet specific criteria for their unit.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college/university or institution.
• Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Licensure/Certifications: Current Ohio RN license, BLS certification. Additional certifications per department policy. Must obtain ACLS and complete Chemotherapy Competency course within 1 year of hire.

Work Schedule:

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotation)
• Hours per pay period: 72
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as per policy.
