SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Janesville in Wisconsin offers a Nurse Residency Program for new graduates. Under RN supervision, residents provide patient care and participate in a structured program designed to build confidence, knowledge, and clinical skills across the Med Surg department.

The twelve-month residency features monthly four-hour virtual sessions and mentorship to bridge education with practice and support licensure goals in multiple states.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Eligible to practice as determined by State Board of Nursing
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN Preceptor, perform delegated nursing tasks as trained
• Perform patient assessments to guide care plans
• Develop and deliver patient/family education
• Document care accurately and timely and monitor delivery of nursing care
