Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking novice nurses for our homecare opportunities in the Western MA area. We have full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available. New graduate RNs and LPNs are encouraged to apply. We offer paid full skills advancement training for high acuity care needs involving G Tube, Trach, and Vent care. Additionally, we provide supplemental module training and shadow shifts for novice nurses. No previous homecare experience is required.

Are you a nurse interested in furthering your education and learning new skills?

Maxim Healthcare Services offers several training programs for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), including pediatric, trach, ventilator training, and more. These programs equip caregivers with the skills and experience to work confidently in the homecare setting. Previous homecare experience is not required, and new graduate nurses are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Perform focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
3. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
4. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document nursing diagnoses.
5. Perform other duties as assigned for LPNs or RNs.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the practicing state.
• Current health certificate (per facility requirements).
• Current PPD or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
