Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking novice nurses for our homecare opportunities in the Western MA area. We have full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available. New grad RN’s and LPN’s encouraged. We offer paid full skills advancement trainings for high acute care needs involving G Tube, Trach, and Vent care. We also provide supplemental module training and shadow shifts for our novice nurses. No previous homecare experience required.

Maxim Healthcare Services now offers several training programs for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are looking to advance their skill set. Training programs including pediatric training, trach training, ventilator training and many more! These programs provide caregivers with training and experience to work comfortably and confidently in the homecare setting. Maxim does not require previous homecare experience, and new graduate nurses are also welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.

Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state in which the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices.

Current Health Certificate (per facility).

Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Current BLS card.
