Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Beaufort, SC seeks a Registered Nurse Applicant to join the hemodialysis health care team under the direction of a Staff Registered Nurse. You will ensure quality patient care daily in line with FMCNA policies and CQI activities, and support education for patients and families.

You will supervise Patient Care Technicians, coordinate care with physicians, and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduated nursing program alumnus, licensed and registered in the state.
• Must obtain nursing license/registration within the timeframe defined by state regulations or within 90 days from hire.
• Under supervision, provide safe, quality patient care per FMCNA policies.

Responsibilities

• Directs Patient Care Technician delivery of dialysis therapy per policy and regulations.
• Delegates tasks to PCTs, LVNs/LPNs, and Dialysis Assistants.
• Assess daily patient care needs and assign care accordingly.
• Monitor staff techniques and policy adherence; participate in staff training.
