Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) to join the 9 Center unit, a 24/7 ER overflow designed to support ED flow and short-term observation. The role provides individualized nursing care under supervision and involves collaboration with the health care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The position requires SC RN licensure or compact state, and BLS certification. Eligible new grads with BSN coursework or degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN staff hired on/after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma in nursing must enroll in BSN within 2 years and obtain BSN within 4 years.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
