Job summary

MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift role offers opportunities for growth, education, and exposure to a diverse patient population.

The ED handles about 40,000 visits annually and provides comprehensive nurse benefits. Ideal candidates will have ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL, MD RN license (or compact state) with BLS, and prior clinical nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.
