Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the dialysis health care team. You will supervise Patient Care Technicians, provide comprehensive education to ESRD patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care in a busy clinic.

The role requires nursing licensure, timely state registration, and a current permit where applicable. You will be responsible for documentation, safety, and CQI-aligned activities in accordance with FMCNA policies.

Qualifications

• Must obtain nursing license and registration within state regulations or within 90 days of hire.
• Current appropriate state Temporary Permit.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Directs Patient Care Technician’s delivery of safe, effective dialysis per policy.
• Delegates tasks to LVN/LPNs, PCTs, and Dialysis Assistants.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns care.
• Participates in staff training and meetings.
• Educates patients on ESRD, dialysis, diet, and medications.
• Ensures accurate documentation and adherence to policies.
