The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) for Main 6 West, a 15-bed Specialty Medicine & Acute Care unit. You will provide individualized nursing care to patients with complex conditions and collaborate with the care team.

Under supervision, you will apply the nursing process, participate in ongoing learning, and support patient and family needs in a fast-paced environment. BSN progression timelines are in place.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years of hire or reclassification date.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Support patient and family education and safety in a high-acuity unit.
