This role is part of our Nurse Residency Program at Cincinnati's #1 Hospital, recognized for excellence for over 10 years. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions and educating patients and families
  • Monitoring patient outcomes and adjusting care plans accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of employment
  • BLS certification prior to patient contact
  • ACLS certification within 6 months for step-down and ICU units
  • Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records

Stepdown Units: The role includes rotations through various specialized units such as Medical Stepdown, Cardio-Pulmonary, Telemetry, Heart & Vascular, and Cardiovascular Stepdown, each with specific patient populations and training opportunities.
