This position is designed for new graduates seeking to develop their nursing skills in a supportive environment.

Summary of Primary Function

Delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifies and determines the priority of patient’s problems/needs, and evaluates the process and outcome of nursing care. Coordinates, provides, and directs patient teaching activities and care provided by the health team members.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Create and implement a plan of care, administer medications safely, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and incorporate professional practice models into care delivery.

Skills
