Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse to join the hemodialysis health care team in Smyrna, DE. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse while pursuing licensure, gaining hands-on experience in safe dialysis therapy.

Responsibilities include patient care, data documentation, and mastering treatment procedures as you move toward full licensure within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility preferred.
• Required to obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Performs and records Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs.
• Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including QB and QD.
• Monitors patients’ response to dialysis therapy and documents in the health record.
• Obtains laboratory specimens and ensures proper documentation.
