Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. in Lyndhurst is seeking a Quality Control Engineer - New Graduate to perform detailed inspections and help improve SOPs. You will collaborate with engineering and production to ensure our ammonia/CO2 refrigeration systems meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, have hands-on tooling experience, and be able to travel nationwide for site inspections. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience using tools and machinery.
• Welding experience highly preferred; must be capable of assessing weld quality.
• Skilled in investigation techniques and writing clear, actionable quality reports.
• Must be comfortable working at heights for inspections and quality checks.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed quality checks at fabrication stages.
• Maintain, revise, and improve SOPs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to implement and validate quality solutions.
• Promote and lead continuous improvement efforts to drive quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Provide training and support to team members on quality procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
