Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a New-Grad Project Engineer to join the Project Management Team on-site in Tampa. You will support contract setup, submittals, bid packages, and scheduling while developing strong client service and communication skills.

This role is ideal for a fresh graduate in construction management or engineering, with 1–3 years of related experience or an equivalent pathway. A flexible, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence.
• 1-3 years reading and understanding construction plans and specs for submittals.
• 1-3 years experience with project closeout.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or similar (or 8 years of equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract setup, submittals, and bid packages.
• Support scheduling of the project and change orders.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team and clients to ensure timely submissions.
