Genesis in Gallup, New Mexico, is hiring newly graduated Practical Care Nurses for our Red Rocks location. You will deliver nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, with orientation and opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will evaluate residents, participate in care planning, supervise unlicensed staff, and administer medications per orders, contributing to positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
• Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
