Job summary

Applied Intuition seeks a New Grad OTA Validation Engineer to validate OTA software updates on automotive ECUs and vehicles. You will work hands-on with embedded hardware, test benches, and prototype vehicles, receiving mentorship while growing into an automotive OTA domain expert.

You will design and execute test cases, analyze failures, and develop automated Python scripts to improve repeatability. Office-based role with mentorship and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field completed by Summer 2027
• Basic Python programming skills and Linux command line familiarity
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with interest in embedded automotive software testing
• Interest in automotive/EV sectors and commitment to safety and quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with teams
• 1+ year of experience in any field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for OTA updates on HIL benches and vehicles.
• Collaborate with teams to collect logs, reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
• Develop Python-based automated test scripts to improve repeatability.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of HIL environments and rigs.
• Validate vehicle functionality before and after OTA updates with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain clear test cases and traceability to requirements.
