Job summary

Bozeman Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc., is hiring a Registered Nurse New Grad for a Monday–Friday, no-night, no-weekend role in Bozeman, MT. The RN will deliver continuous, safe care, assist in procedure rooms, and support discharge planning for patients coming from anesthesia.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active state license and BLS/ACLS; PALS may be required at some centers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition and safety.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care from pre‑op to discharge planning and education.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation.
