Job summary

ENERCON is seeking entry-level Mechanical Engineers to join our Nuclear Design Group on a path to professional growth. You will engage in design and environmental projects supporting nuclear facilities and energy initiatives across the U.S.

As a new graduate, you’ll receive mentorship, hands-on project exposure, and structured development opportunities while contributing to safe, reliable energy solutions at sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET-accredited school in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Available to start between January 2027 and July 2027.
• ABET-accredited degree required for entry-level engineering roles.
• Solid working knowledge of core concepts in your major.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns and work outdoors.
• Willingness to travel for client and company projects.
