Job summary

ENERCON is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize critical systems for energy projects while contributing to nuclear upgrades and environmental initiatives. You will work with experienced engineers on diverse assignments, gain hands‑on experience, and develop your skills in a collaborative environment.

As a new graduate, you will tackle challenging problems, communicate findings clearly, and grow through mentorship and targeted training.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with ABET accreditation.
• Available to start between January 2027 and July 2027.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and strong writing/presentation/communication skills.
• Ability to travel, work outside, and navigate client sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize critical systems for energy projects.
• Support nuclear power plant upgrades and environmental remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on diverse projects.
• Document analyses and present findings to sponsors and clients.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
