About the role:

As an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer you will perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis for mega-projects or advanced reactors, and develop pump, valve, heat exchanger and HVAC equipment sizing requirements for plant design and modifications.

You will report to the Sr Manager Reactor and Safety Systems for Plant Mechanical Engineering & Issue Resolution in a hybrid scenario based at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA.

No relocation assistance will be provided. We can entertain all candidates able to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify problems and propose solutions
2. Support engineering personnel for design and analysis
3. Status reporting to technical lead, management and partners
4. Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations project teams
5. Present technical materials to customers, vendors, and in regulator meetings for services justification and product designs

Qualifications:

1. 0+ years of experience
2. Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear)
3. 3.0+ GPA
4. MathCad, MATLAB, or VBA
5. Interested in pursuing Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer License (PE)
