Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room. This entry-level ER position emphasizes delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment and requires graduation from an accredited nursing program.

You will collaborate with a diverse care team, manage patient care plans, administer medications safely, and support patients from arrival through discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred at hire (must obtain ACLS/PALS within 6 months).
• RN Residency completion within 18 months of hire.
• Recent ER or other acute care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient care.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluate, update, and revise the care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
