Responsibilities

• Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
• Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team.
• Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project execution using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects for HNTB’s clients.

Location

Our Indianapolis, IN office is seeking Engineer I's in the areas of Traffic, Bridge, Roadway, and Water.

What You'll Do

• Complete assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Support engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Assist with research, data collection, field investigations, and project development and design.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other relevant software.
