Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a New College Grad Computer Engineer to join the Central Engineering team in Boise, Idaho.

The role focuses on developing and enhancing EDA tools, design flows, and automation to support CMOS design and verification across engineering teams. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s in computer engineering or computer science, solid programming experience (Python, shell scripts), and a willingness to learn AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and workflow

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Demonstrated programming and software development experience.
Experience in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting is required.
Ability to learn and apply AI-enabled tools to improve productivity is desired.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance EDA tools, design flows, and methodologies that support CMOS design and verification activities.
Debug, evaluate, and provide production support for in-house and commercial EDA solutions in Linux/Unix environments.
Collaborate with design, layout, and process engineering teams to identify and resolve workflow, automation, and tool integration challenges.
Create and maintain technical documentation and deliver training and support for engineering users.
Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies, where appropriate, to improve development efficiency, workflow automation, and design enablement processes.
