Job summary

Sterling Care LLC is seeking a New Graduate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Maryland. The CNA provides direct resident care, promoting dignity, comfort, and well-being for residents under the supervision of nursing leadership.

You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, vital signs, and documentation while maintaining privacy and safety in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.
• Take vital signs, record weights, and assist with treatments as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist with new admissions, transfers, and room changes.
• Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
