  • Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.

LPL Financial is seeking a motivated and technology-driven Software Engineering new grad to help build innovative solutions that support financial advisors and their clients. This role will work alongside experienced engineers and mentors, contributing to real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience with modern software development practices, cloud technologies, and AI-powered development tools. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about coding, problem-solving, and building scalable technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as React, Angular, Java, Python, .NET, Node.js, and related frameworks.

Requirements
  • Completed a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), software engineering or a related field.
  • Available to work from of LPL Financials' primary office locations
  • Hands-on experience through coursework, internships, hackathons, or personal projects using at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
Core Competencies
  • Software Engineering Fundamentals - Understanding of software development, testing, debugging, databases, APIs, and secure coding practices.
  • Problem Solving & Collaboration - Ability to work effectively across teams and solve technical challenges in a structured manner.
  • Cloud & Modern Development Practices - Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps principles, and scalable application development.
Preferences
  • Previous internship experience within a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Experience with modern development frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, .NET, Node.js, or Spring Boot.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with AI/Generative AI technologies, AI-powered coding tools, machine learning concepts, or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Participation in team software projects, hackathons, internships, or open-source contribution

Pay Range

Pay Range: $32.19-$53.68/hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
