Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for New Development in Meridian, ID. You will supervise maintenance activities during construction and stabilization, audit units for warranty risks, and ensure curb appeal and safety across the property.

The role requires 3-5 years in the industry, excellent customer service, basic maintenance skills, and the ability to lift and work varied shifts including weekends. Training and team collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, property management experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and basic maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of pool service/maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the construction group during the building phase of the community.
• Liaise with the construction group and the developer to share concerns and provide updates to CG management teams.
• Complete physical auditing of each unit prior to opening; document issues affecting warranty/compliance.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal and keep grounds and buildings clean and maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and general maintenance duties.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, tidy clubhouse, office, model, hallways and all common areas.
• Ensure property is free of trash, debris and animal waste.
• Maintain landscaping and watering of plants; ensure appearance of apartments prior to move-in.
• Advise supervisor of items needing attention in the apartment; assist with turnovers.
• Communicate with Community Manager about maintenance or curb-appeal issues.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and procedures; attend required trainings.
