Overview

A regional single-family home builder with a small-company feel but strong corporate support is seeking an onsite Project Manager/Superintendent to lead new-homes construction across multiple jobsite locations in the Charlotte, NC area. The company builds semi-custom and affordable homes directly with local clients and offers a stable, long-term career path with room for advancement.

What you'll do

• Plan and schedule subcontractors to be onsite as needed to meet build-time requirements for each project
• Over-communicate with customers and subcontractors to ensure the highest satisfaction
• Manage construction sites from the design and preconstruction phase through subcontractor selection, contract execution, safety management, and scheduling through closeout
• Ensure budget and schedule targets are met while closely monitoring construction quality

Required qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, preferably On-Your-Lot or scattered lot building
• Experience managing multiple projects (typically 8-10) simultaneously, with average home prices ranging from $525,000 to $625,000
• 4+ year proven track record of successful operations and project leadership within new-homes construction
• Strong team-building skills and excellent communication abilities with customers and owners

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with custom homes preferred
