Responsibilities

• Install drain, waste, and vent (DWV) pipes through walls and floors; connect drains for toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and other fixtures.
• Run hot- and cold-water piping through walls and ceilings; install stub-outs for fixtures and appliances.
• Set fixture connections and valves; install fixture boxes, pipe supports, and rough-in components.
• Secure and test piping; pressure-test water lines and drainage/vent systems; verify pipe sizing, slopes, and fixture locations; correct issues before rough-in inspection.
