The New Construction Installer is responsible for completing HVAC-related installation work on new construction sites. This position installs refrigerant line sets, PVC drainage systems, and flues, and assists with the delivery and placement of HVAC equipment and materials. The role requires the ability to work independently, safely use hand and power tools, and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently. The Installer may also assist with team projects and other installation work as needed to support project completion.
The responsibilities outlined below represent the primary duties of this position. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with company procedures, applicable standards, and job requirements, with the level of supervision and support appropriate to the employee’s experience and level of training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, lift, carry, and use hands to handle tools, materials, and equipment. The position requires working at residential construction sites, including unfinished and newly constructed homes, and may involve working on uneven surfaces, ladders, elevated areas, and in confined or limited-access spaces.
The employee must be able to safely lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds. The position requires the ability to work in varying hot and cold weather conditions and to safely handle tools, materials, and other objects commonly found on residential construction sites.
The work environment described below is representative of the conditions an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.
Work is primarily performed at residential construction sites and newly constructed homes, including unfinished interior spaces, garages, attics, crawl spaces, basements, and mechanical areas. Employees may work in both indoor and outdoor environments and may be exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, dust, insulation, construction debris, and other materials commonly found on residential construction sites.
Work may occur around other construction trades, tools, equipment, ladders, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and building materials, with occasional exposure to elevated noise levels. Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
