The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the commissioning of large scale, new construction projects to ensure projects are turned over to operations for future safe and reliable operations. The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for verifying the project controls system fully functions and operates in alignment with engineering designs and equipment specifications. The control system operation shall align with Vistra fleet standards and Fleet SME guidance. The Commissioning Engineer shall coordinate with EPC Contractors, Controls suppliers, and owners' engineers to ensure all necessary testing and commissioning is completed for turnover to Vistra Operations. Travel for the project will be necessary and may require extended travel to meet project needs.
Please note, location will vary based on project assignment. Must work or be willing to relocate to a State that Vistra currently operates.
