Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer in the Node Development group to drive new DRAM process node startups, qualifications, and ramps. You will work across Design, Technology Development, Design for Test, and Quality teams to optimize yields and resolve circuit-related issues.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering, strong communication and problem-solving skills,

Provide direction to development teams using thorough knowledge for process integrationDevelop and key metrics for feedback on a new technologySupport design verification and validation using CAD tools and simulationsPerform electrical failure analysis and yield improvement using both data and bench testing analysisIdentify design marginalities and recommend design solutions for circuit-related problemsUtilize state-of-art in house engineering equipment to support product characterization and electrical failure analysisIdentify causes of low yield through systematic analysis. Utilize statistical tools for detailed data analysis on product to drive yield improvement projectsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalentEffective written and spoken communication skillsIntermediate to advanced Agentic AI usage and understanding of Large Language Models including Claude, Copilot, etc.Good organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situationsExcellent problem solving, analytical skills, and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:Exposure to semiconductor memory (DRAM, SRAM, NAND) through coursework, projects, or internshipsFamiliarity with simulation or CAD tools from academic experienceBasic knowledge of statistics, data visualization, or scripting for analysisInternship, co‑op, or research experience in hardware, validation, or test engineeringSelf-motivation and enthusiasmAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
