Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a DRAM Yield & Quality Engineer to own the end-to-end health of server DRAM products, ensuring yield, quality, and performance meet targets across the product lifecycle.

You will analyze large data sets from silicon parametrics, testing, and manufacturing, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions with a global, cross-functional team. Strong analytical skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

You will guide technical decision-making, analyze manufacturing and product data, and partner with global collaborators to ensure successful product qualification, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical leadership, and the ability to drive multi-functional alignment to deliver predictable product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Own global product health for server DRAM products, including yield, quality, and speed performance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze silicon parametric, test, and manufacturing data to identify issues, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and execute yield and quality improvement strategies across new product introduction (NPI), qualification, production ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with fab, test, module, quality, and operations teams worldwide to align priorities and drive execution.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve engineering workflows, data analysis efficiency, and technical decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge through coursework or experience in yield analysis, product quality, testing, debugging, or process issue resolution.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems using structured methodologies within an agile project management environment.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or utilizing automation solutions, including AI-assisted tools, to improve engineering productivity.
• Strong analytical, communication, and multi-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with common DRAM failure mechanisms and hands-on failure analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, backend test, module assembly, or system-level interactions.
• Experience leading yield improvement initiatives, product qualification activities, or manufacturing optimization projects.
• Proven technical leadership in cross-site and multi-functional engineering environments.
• Experience applying AI or data-driven approaches to accelerate root-cause analysis, process improvement, or engineering decision-making.
