Job summary

The Driving Desk is offering a structured Class A CDL Truck Driver Trainees program in Arkansas. New drivers enter a hands-on training track with mentorship and a clear path to solo, over-the-road positions.

Onboarding includes hands-on evaluation, lodging and transportation, and continuous support throughout the training phase. During onboarding you will receive a $100 food stipend, and you’ll earn $75 per day in training.

Job description

We are hiring Class A CDL Truck Driver Trainees for a structured training program designed to help new drivers transition into full-time OTR positions. This program provides hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to becoming a solo driver.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who recently earned their CDL and are looking to gain real-world experience with guided support.

• Initial Onboarding: Minimum 7 days in Tontitown, AR
• Meet company teams and complete skills evaluation
• Additional training provided if needed
• Lodging and transportation provided
• $100 food stipend provided during onboarding
• Minimum 10 days with a driver mentor
• Paid $75 per day during training
• Gain hands-on experience driving real routes

After completing training:

• Final evaluations include:
• Backing test
• Pre-trip inspection
• Road test
• Once approved, drivers are upgraded to a first seat (solo driver) position earning $1,000 - $1,100 weekly
• Assigned to an OTR division with consistent miles
