Job summary

Ascension Coffee is opening a new cafe in Fall 2026. This on-site General Manager role requires leading a team to achieve sales targets, manage costs, and ensure food safety across all cafe operations. Availability for nights and weekends is expected, with a minimum 45 hours per week.

The GM will drive performance through hands-on coaching, inventory control, scheduling, and strong customer service to create a welcoming, high-quality café culture.

Qualifications

• F&B leadership experience required.
• Specialty coffee experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, cost of goods (COGs), labor, and operational targets.
• Build and nurture a highly skilled team.
• Accurately execute inventory management, invoicing, payroll, and scheduling.
• Maintain and uphold food and beverage quality standards with a focus on food safety.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, addressing equipment issues and budget adherence.
• Stay informed on hospitality trends, food innovations, and specialty coffee.
• Drive café-level sales through exceptional service, merchandising, and local marketing events.
• Foster an inclusive, high-quality café culture through thoughtful leadership.
