What to Expect
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and facilitate appointments with Account Managers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators and school administrators
- Manage a sales pipeline, tracking progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with children’s literature and experience with Book Fairs or school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and achieve results
