Overview

We are seeking candidates for an Educational Services sales role with opportunities to impact children’s literacy and education. This position offers a salary potential up to $54,000 per year, eligibility for annual incentives through a Net Revenue Bonus with no maximum cap, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers.
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation efficiency and refine sales techniques.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities.
  • Experience in event management and personal selling.
  • Proven leadership ability demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Creativity in contributing to the enhancement of products and services.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
