What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach via calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Book Fairs
- Track progress toward sales goals and manage records in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and team members
