Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve outreach effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation and CRM systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children's literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
