Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospective clients and setting appointments for Account Managers
  • Establish and nurture relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and enhance sales effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results effectively
