What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners; initiate outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation and refine sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
