What to Expect
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set appointments for further engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Track sales progress and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with children’s literature and school activities
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Notable leadership qualities and demonstrated success in sales roles
