What to Expect
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set appointments for further engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Track sales progress and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature and school activities
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Notable leadership qualities and demonstrated success in sales roles
