What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Research and identify potential school and district partners to initiate outreach
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build strong relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership ability and qualities in sales and customer service environments
  • Proficient in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
