What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage a sales pipeline by keeping accurate records of interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and team members

- Demonstrated leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
