Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall sales effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature and school activities
  • Proven leadership abilities within sales environments
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under pressure
