What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and establish relationships with schools and districts to promote and expand the reach of Scholastic Book Fairs
- Qualify leads and set up appointments for Account Managers by understanding potential partners' needs and interests
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and pipeline progress in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
- Achieve budgeted Fair Counts and sales program goals through effective execution of sales methods

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, district sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Demonstrated leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
